In July the Department published a set of suggested texts for the pupil Fair Processing Notice (FPN) layers 1, 2 and 3 and the covering notes and letters, for the school year 2007-08. LAs and schools were also notified of the publication of these texts by the regular email and in the DSP Bulletin.

It is now necessary to provide clarification and correction of one section in the full suggested text of the FPN - Layer 3 - relating to ContactPoint.

In Layer 3 on page 4, there are four paragraphs referring to ContactPoint, these have been replaced. The amended version of LAYER 3 has been published on Teachernet and it can be viewed by following the link below.
