This pack contains a coherent set of subject specific advice, guidance and example materials to support more effective use of ICT in the teaching and learning of mathematics.

The materials are aimed at enabling subject specialists to have a clearer understanding of when and how they can embed ICT into their subject teaching. The pack includes the Embedding ICT @ Secondary CD-Rom, which contains video case studies showcasing the effective use of ICT in teaching and learning.

Embedding ICT in subject teaching has been identified as a priority for extending the learning opportunities for all students. A critical mass of technology and connectivity is now in place; this pack is one in a series designed to build on the current position.

The pack was created by in conjunction with the Key Stage 3 National Strategy, Becta, Subject Associations and other key partners.
